I'm going to repost some of the stuff from the first post because it's on the second page now. I'm growing what little facial hair I have for a good cause and I need sponsors.
Remember, to sponsor my Mo, go to http://www.movember.com/au/donate, enter my registration number (124038) and your credit card details.
If for whatever reason, you can't use your credit card, you can also donate by sending a cheque in the mail. Make all cheques payable to the "Movember Foundation" clearly marking the donation as being for my Registration Number: 124038 and mail them to PO Box 292, Prahran VIC 3181

Only one week to go!
I've only got a week to go before I'll be free of my scraggly facial hair and it's crunch time for donations. Those of you who've promised to donate, please do it this week and everyone else who has had a good laugh at my attempts, well, now's your chance to contribute to society.
In this update, I've had to trim away parts of my man-fluff because I attended a fancy shindig on a boat. It looks a bit neater than before, but as you can see, I've had to forgo the tickler and trimmed the edges of the top lip.

It's a bit shorter than I wanted it because when I went to trim it on one side, I went overboard and made it lopsided. To compensate, I trimmed a bit off the other side, which made it lopsided again, but the other way. This happened three or four times before I stopped. After all, I don't want to look like a dark Charlie Chaplin (or Hitler).

Here's a Blue Steel marred by unsightly facial hair. Remember, details on how to donate are in the first post.

Three weeks... pathetic.
It has now been three weeks since I began this epic quest for manly facial hair, and I have to say... I am utterly failing at this.

Not only is the hair scraggly and unsightly, it's itchy. I mean, really, really itchy. Oh yeah, if you think this picture is scary, you should check out the full size one. You can see the sunlight glinting off each individual hair. Ewwww.
Let's see what kind of damage has been dealt to the face:

Only one more week to go. Make sure you donate!

Half way in!
I am now half way into my Movember challenge and I think the results speak for themselves:
Marvel at my manliness and (in)ability to grow a thick, luxurious moustache:

Here I am zoomed out so that you don't have to look at my lips:

And just for all those doubters out there, there is no such thing as black eyes. Just very dark brown:

12 days
It has now been a week and a half since I began this incredible attempt at growing facial hair. It's looking pretty horrendous at the moment. I really should have known that my genes would be working against me.

Seriously, at this point, I don't think I could even pull off the Cantinflas look.
Also, donations have been running kind of dry. I know it's hard to part with money, but I'm putting my dashing good looks on the line here, people! You still have plenty of time to sponsor my Mo, so get to sponsoring.

One week
It has been a week since I started letting my mo grow. Admittedly, the results so far aren't that sexy. Here's a picture of my face as it is right now:

Hello there, baby...
Here's a close up of my lips. This thing is starting to take on a life of its own and it's only getting scragglier by the day.

Yeah, my lips are kinda gross when you zoom in, aren't they? I'm still annoyed about the bald patches. What will happen when it grows out more? Stay tuned to find out!
Don't forget to sponsor me!

5 days in...
Things are starting to take shape, but I am worried about the patches. If I don't get hair in those spots soon, it's going to look a little weird.

I've even got a bit of a tickler, but you'll notice that it's a little lopsided. Hopefully, I won't have to get rid of it.
It's getting scratchy whenever I rub my nose. Taking up-close photos of myself for this, I've also noticed that I need to trim my nose hairs. They're frikkin scary at 8 megapixels, so I've cropped them out here. I'm afraid to use scissors though, and the thought of tweezers makes me shudder. Any suggestions?

What I'm aiming for
While my efforts so far have only resulted in a dirty half-moustache, I've decided to let you all know what it is I'm going for. The problem is that I've never grown a proper moustache before.
So here are two pictures, the first a picture of what I want my moustache to look like:

And here is a second picture, showing what it probably will look like when all is said and done:

I can feel the laughter now. Don't forget to donate!

The Stache Blog!
Alright guys, in my efforts to really make the most of Movember 2007 (and encourage all of you to donate by sponsoring my 'stache), I've decided to do a 'Stache Blog.
Its purpose: to keep everyone up to date as to the status of my Mo, give everyone a chance at my pathetic attempts at growing facial hair and to loosen wallets for a good cause in the process.
Remember guys, Movember is an event held each year to raise awareness of and to raise money for mens' health issues such as prostate cancer and depression. These diseases too often go undiagnosed because men tend not to ask for help when they need it. Sponsor my Mo and proceeds will go to both the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue.
This will be the first of my blog posts, which will be duplicated on Facebook, MySpace and http://stacheblog.blogspot.com, so none of you will have any excuse to forget to donate. After this first one, I'll just send out an announcement once a week with a link to the Stacheblog.
To kick things off, here is a photo of my lips as of the 1st of Movember

3 days of growth
Here's what my lips looked like after 3 days. I have to say though, I'm constantly touching my lips right now.
Growing facial hair feels somewhat... unhygenic at times. I feel like I'm not dressed properly or something. Hopefully this feeling goes away once my moustache is complete.
The tickler (under the lower lip) isn't showing too much promise though. I can see a horizontal line of hairs there, but nothing underneath. The triangle might not happen for me.
